About Kellie Kennedy
Hello and welcome. I’m Kellie, your friendly neighbourhood romance writer. I’ve been told that I need to introduce myself and like most writers I’m sure, my mind has gone blank thinking about how to do that. But I will give it my best shot.
I was born in London and moved to Derbyshire in my 30’s. I have an amazing husband who is incredibly understanding of my need to write as soon as our two children are in bed. At the time of writing this, again after the children are in bed, my children are 3 and 4 (soon to be 5) and I can’t believe how quickly the time has gone.
I love romance, falling in love and the butterflies you feel when you have met the person you want to spend the rest of your life with. Romance and love isn’t always easy and it can take work but I hope my books will show you what I think love is. If you don’t agree with me that’s absolutely fine, but I hope you still enjoy reading about the characters as much as I have loved writing them. There have been times when their voices have been so loud in my head they have drowned out everything else.
But, I digress, more about me. I love anything craft related and am more then happy at a craft fair getting ideas for the next project that I have planned. I also love to craft with the kids and see what kind of mess we can get into. I enjoy walking in the countryside, up mountains or over the local park. Anything to get my heart rate going and my creative energies flowing again.
I have to admit now to you, that I have a lot of titles that I have planned out and I plan to write something for each one, but please bear with me. I know how frustrating it is to keep waiting and waiting for the next book from an author but at the moment I am working, raising two children and trying to keep the house from looking like a bomb site. I write every day and if I’m not writing I am editing or trying to design a cover for them so please bear with me as I start this journey.
Feel free to get in touch with me on the contact page and I will try and get back to you as soon as possible, once my tech savvy husband tells me what the log in details are for the email he has set up for me.
I also have a newsletter you can sign up to if you want to keep up to date with what I have in the works. I promise not to spam you, I’ll most likely need to be reminded to send out newsletters at first to be honest, and you can unsubscribe at any time if you feel you’ve heard enough from me.
Anyway, thanks for reading. I’ll stop going on and on now. Enjoy!
